An Egg Coddler (hah what?)

The egg coddler is a kitchen gadget commonly used by Britons to prepare breakfast eggs. It is a jar-like container filled with raw egg and seasonings, sealed, and then placed in a pot of boiling water to cook. Once the egg is ready, the coddler is removed from the water, and the egg is served.

Initially, I was unfamiliar with this tool. Still, I noticed that it was manufactured in England by a company called “Royal Something,” which led me to believe it was high quality. Upon further research, I discovered that the egg coddler is a popular breakfast item in Britain.
