This mask holds a special place in my heart. I purchased it during my early travels to Sri Lanka in September 1991. Sri Lanka is so fascinating that I have revisited it in 1993 and 1994. Since then, the mask has been hanging on my walls as a reminder of those beautiful memories. For example, those masks are used at the traditional mask dances performed in Kandy, the former capital of Sri Lanka.
